Twelve milliseconds of added latency at 48kHz, measured on a mid-range laptop, not a marketing slide. The engine runs on your own machine, so nothing about your microphone feed has to touch a server for the voice change itself to work.
Sound comes in through whatever microphone you already own, USB or XLR, headset or condenser. The engine reshapes pitch, timbre and formant in a processing chain that never has to leave the machine it runs on. This is the part that makes Volcce Mod a real-time voice changer rather than a cloud voice filter: there is no upload step, so there is nothing to wait on and nothing that must reach a server for the core path to work.
What comes out the far side presents itself to the rest of your system as a normal virtual microphone. Discord sees it, Zoom sees it, OBS sees it, and so does any game that reads a system input device. You pick it from a dropdown once and forget it is there.
That is why streamers use it as a voice modulator for voice chat and why call-centre teams use the same path as a voice disguise tool for privacy on outbound calls. One engine, two very different jobs.
Stage 1, mic in. Any interface your operating system already lists as a recording device.
Stage 2, engine. Pitch, formant and timbre shift plus the soundboard mixer, calculated on your own processor. 12ms added latency at 48kHz on a mid-range laptop.
Stage 3, virtual output. A standard virtual microphone that Discord, a game client, a call app or a capture card can select like any other device.
No uptime percentage is quoted here and no certification is named, because none has been issued to us. What follows is checkable against the software itself: this is low latency voice modulation you can measure yourself, not a number lifted from a slide.

Every added millisecond of latency shows up as a lag between your mouth moving and your teammates hearing it, and past a certain point it gets noticed mid-fight. Twelve milliseconds does not. Volcce Mod sits under whatever streaming software you already run, hooks into the same virtual mic your capture card reads, and keeps working when your internet connection does not, because none of the processing depends on it.
Streamers use the preset voices for bits, the pitch slider for a permanent on-air persona, and the hotkey layer to fire a sample mid-sentence without cutting away from the game. None of that requires a second application window open on a monitor you do not have spare.

Volcce Mod does not add camera filters, a scene switcher or a chat bot because a small team that owns its own DSP engine outright can patch inside a week when a voice-chat platform changes its API. We have been doing exactly that since 2016, through five major versions of the same core codebase, not three acquired ones stitched together. People searching for a voice changer alternative to a bloated streaming suite usually want this: fewer buttons, one engine, a straight answer when we say no.
