Cookies

Storage on this voice changer site stays off until you switch it on.

volccemod.info runs real-time voice changer software for gaming, streaming and calls; this page covers the small amount of browser storage the marketing site around it uses, and the advertising identifiers Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Meta Ads attach when a paid click brings you here.

Categories in use

Three categories cover everything this site stores. Strictly necessary storage keeps the site working: a single first-party key, site_consent_v2, remembering the choice you made on the consent banner, and nothing else persists without your say. Analytics storage, gated behind the analytics_storage signal, would measure page views and visits if you allow it. Advertising storage, gated behind ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization, lets Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Meta Ads recognise that a click on their ad led to a visit here, and only once allowed.

The cookies and storage keys themselves

This is the real list, not a category summary. Every row below either sits in your browser today or would be set the moment you allow storage.

Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and the identifiers they attach

Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising send paid traffic to this site today, and a Meta Ads campaign may run alongside them. A click from any of the three carries an identifier appended to the link: gclid from Google Ads, msclkid from Microsoft Advertising, fbclid from Meta Ads. We read whichever one is present the moment you land, and pass it to that same platform's own storage once you allow it, so a later inquiry can be credited to the campaign that paid for the click.

Consent Mode v2, in practice

This site runs Google's consent mode v2. Four signals — ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage — sit denied by default on every visit. Nothing behind them fires until you press "Allow storage" on the banner. Press "Decline", or reopen "Cookie settings" in the footer later and withdraw, and all four signals are set straight back to denied, immediately, not on your next visit.

How you give or change consent

A banner appears on your first visit with two buttons: "Allow storage" and "Decline". Choosing either writes the site_consent_v2 key and closes the banner without covering the page underneath it. To change your mind later, open "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page on the site — it reopens the same choice and applies it immediately.

What happens if you decline

Declining costs you nothing functional. The site renders normally, the inquiry form on the contact page still posts to our desk, and the support chat widget still opens and holds a conversation. What stops is measurement: Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Meta Ads cannot tie your visit to a click on their ads, and no analytics count is added for your session. Global Privacy Control, where your browser sends it, is treated as the same decline automatically.

The platforms' own documents

Each advertising platform publishes its own account of how it uses the data behind gclid, msclkid or fbclid once storage is allowed. Read Google's at policies.google.com and Microsoft's at privacy.microsoft.com. Neither document is ours to change, and neither states that either company has reviewed or approved this site.

Ask about a specific cookie

If a browser extension flags a specific name and you want to know which row above it matches, write to company@volccemod.info with the name and roughly when you saw it. See the privacy policy for the full account of what the inquiry form and chat collect, and the data request section for how to have any of it deleted.
